Application Questions for the 2014 CSG Henry Toll Fellowship Program

Please answer the three questions below and include the responses with the rest of your application materials. These questions are designed to help the Toll Fellow selection committee better evaluate applicants. Answers to each question should be 250 words or less and typewritten.

  1. CSG’s Toll Fellowship brings together a diverse class of outstanding, rising leaders from all three branches of state government and from every region of the country. Why do you want to be a CSG Toll Fellow?
  2. Participation in the CSG Toll Fellowship Program requires a significant commitment of time and is both physically and mentally rigorous. What do you hope to get out of your participation in the fellowship program to justify the time and energy you put into it?
  3. A leader possesses many values, traits and characteristics. Pick one you think is essential and share a specific example of how it contributed to the results you have achieved as a leader?
